Stuck in game

I'm sure a few others have had this problem:

I was playing on the server like normal all of a sudden I start lagging out and see "connection problem" in the top corner. So I disconnect and then wait for the server list to start responding. Then I attempt to login and it says my steam id is already logged in blah blah. I check the server info and see my name there only I'm not playing obviously. I try joining other servers, restarting steam, restarting my computer but nothing will get me out of that server so I can rejoin. Now I know if someone were available to go into console they could manually kick me but no one with that ability is currently available. Now, while I'm not going through withdraw because I can't play for a bit this is quite annoying. Anyway to stop/fix this??

not sure it did happen to me once though, i just quit trying for like a half hour and then it let me back in

Most of the time you just need to wait till the map change.

The only thing I did was kick envy for eating all the skittles. Hot pocket maybe used it once

This problem occurs, I believe, from packetloss. Or in other words, from a temporary internet "Glitch." It is what steam reconizes as a "Client Timeout," basically your internet timesout and you lose connection to the point where it kicks you from the server, but the server is still somewhat recieving your connection, or Packets. So you end up with the result of "you" being in the server as it still sees you as connected. After a variation of time the server will realize that the person is not actually connected and will boot them from the game.

The only way to get back in (If it's taking a long time) is to get an admin to kick you, but usually it will auto-kick after a few minutes.

Although most of their resolutions are shit. The best way to fix this is, get a better internet, get rid of the worm connected to your bandwith, or fix your rates/download speed.
As well as you can try deleting your ClientRegistry.BLOB, so Steam will patch and fix its self.

I SERIOUSLY suggest that everyone do a TrendMicro home edition scan, it will catch everything that is infecting your computer (If there is an infection): http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/
and if you're really looking for a good Anti-Virus, TrendMicro is the best possible AV, this is not just my prefference, this is proven the best. Although I use AVG as it's free, and because i'm to lazy to switch to a better AV. If you don't want to buy TrendMicro, then you may want to try NOD32 or the TrendMicro 30day free trial. As well, you may be able to find a cracked version of the 30day free trial to be able to last forever.

Its happening today. i can join and all but it doesnt let me move or anything. The game cycled but its still fucked up. another kid was having the same problem.

yeah its not the same as what happened to surf, it's fucked up. tell you what. i saw mushroom on and tried to join. Same thing happened. Spawn, have usp, can't walk, can't shoot, can give weapons, and slap, and such. But no movement.

I just restarted the server.
