why was i banned? can i be unbanned please?

im guessing he got vac banned very recently.

I am fairly certain i saw him on at like 10 last night, which was after clouds post i see, so maybe its showing he had a past VAC ban?, cause i know ppl who have gotten out of them, maybe he did too

well first of all, i didnt buy my account. my friend bought it first and played on it. he played 1.6 for ages, way before source was out, then got banned for using hacks on 1.6. He bought a new account for himself, and gave this one to me. i DONT hack at all.
I'm not VAC banned on source, which is why i am able to play on your gog server, as well as any other server on css.

yeah, but its only on 1.6. for source, im totally fine.

I'm *pretty* sure that it's widespread if you get VAC banned. It doesn't just confine to any one game but I'm not 100% sure.

really? I can play on any source server though. Same with DOD. 1.6 im banned, but source im fine.

It's not a steamwide thing. You can be 1.6 vacced banned, but still be able to play source.

they do, they do it cause if someone has 10 games on they're account and they get banned, chances are theyll never buy from steam again, so they do it game based
