WTF is going on with source!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok so i can't connect to ANY servers due to an error saying "CLIENT AND SERVER PRODUCT VERSIONS DO NOT MATCH"!!!!

Well, I think that only pops up if the server has not been updated yet, or maybe you didn't download an update :O
But, also try checking if your steam is in online mode, if not just click settings and "Go online..."
If neither of those is a solution then....iunno!

no its neither of those bc i was just in a server that wasnt in my favorites and i had to update when i opened steam!

i think its when the severs don't update and you have a new updated 'product' or some shit like that i donno, happens to me now and again

Ya; there was an update today and if the servers haven't updated you won't be able to connect until they do.

Do you get that error connecting to the assault server too?

You shouldn't anymore, everything has been updated to the latest patch.
Stupid Valve and their dumb updates.

its not a dumb update silly pants. pretty much every online game patches it clients before it patches the servers, and whilst your client has patched and the server has not it brings up this type of error

while in game it runs fine i have good ping (150 ) but i get a sudden freeze for about a second as if i lagg out then everything goes back to normal, this happens every 5 fucking seconds....sooo gayy

I get weird lag/freezes like that sometimes when I look at my scoreboard...
It's so messed up, like how does opening my scoreboard make my ping jump up to 130-150

and recently css has been acting up for me as well

Since the most recent patch my accuracy has gone down at least 8%... fucking fucks... I hate this shit. I'm tempted to go back to 1.6...

my accuracy went up to like 20% overall when im generally around 14-16 and i have like 3k kills
