I initially joined [GoG] in early late 2008. Ranger, Jesus, and I played in Spawnpoint through an extended period of time. After becoming well acquainted, we found that Ranger was going to start a server and invited us in as founding members. We came up with "Gods of Gaming" after a day or so of ideas. We almost decided on "Lords of Gaming" but found out there was a large clan with that name already. Within 3 months we were well known and server population rose steadily. Within a month Anthrax set us up with this forum and it expanded immensely to what it is now. I'm very glad to see that this server has grown to what it has today. I never would have thought that we would be 4th place on the east coast.
I left because I moved away to attend FSU which occupied my life for 2 years. After transferring back into USF and not living on campus I now have time to be an active member once again. I play CSS to relax and zone out, which at times can cause me not to talk much. I still use my microphone to communicate and I definitely like to chime in on intelligent conversation. | |
