!How to's and rules of Demo's!

Note: Demos are only required for people who have been playing in the server for over a month, as well as it is required for people with open/active [GoG] Applications.

How to Record and Upload a Counter-Strike Source demo:
1. Using admin, Auto-spectate the suspected offender.
2. Open console.
3. Type: record *Insert name here* (IE: record stealthy)
4. Close console and watch the suspected offender.
5. Once you believe you have gotten an appropriate amount of proof, Open console and type: Stop
6. To review your demo type: Playdemo *Insert name here* (IE: playdemo stealthy)
7. To upload your demo, make an acocunt on www.filefront.com
8. To find your demo, go to: C:Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/*Account Name*/Counter-strike Source/cstrike. The demo should be in your cstrike folder as you labeled it.
9. To upload, login to your account on FileFront, find "Upload File", browse to your folder and upload. Then wait until the file is uploaded and post your download link.

Note: People who are not members of [GoG] may post demo's of offenders, and request that they be banned; after a review of the demo, an Admin will or will not ban the suspected offender.

DO NOT use rapidshare or any other file share sites as they limit your downloads. On FileFront you are able to upload a 10G File and there are no upload limits.

I have 1 thing to add to this if you guys don't mind.
After you start recording the demo and before you stop it, you should run the status command
with console open type status and hit enter. This will give a list of everyone's names, steamID, time connected
that way nobody gets banned by someone else using their name.

when you auto spec someone using admin commands the steam id pops up in green text so this is worthless to us. but you can feel free to do that.

That is true for those who have access to admin but for those, like myself, who submit demos but are not members of GoG (which are probably also the same which you would not want to just take at their word) should use the status command. :-)
