A Random Thought For a game mode

My idea is the hostages are able to use weapons like a sidearm when a CT reachs them. Much like the vip missions. The hostages could be a re-animated from some one who died on the Ct team or could be a person who join the game late or some one assign before the match begins. I feel this will change the dynamics and pace of the game play. Game play will go much faster with more populated sever and it's a nice twist. The map will be less bias toward the t's. only pistols for the hostie, maybe a knife. body armor can go either way.

Bring back the ballistic shield from condition zero.

I would like to see more admin shins going on. Maybe from L4D? COD4?

This is something to post over in a developer forum. Admin skins are useless and only serve to make people feel more important than they are and cause players to download extra materials when joining the server.

Though i suspect this is spam of some sort.

Laughing I actually think that an ace idea but might not work very well as ct might not get the hossies. But I had an idea for that too lol maybe the hossies could move around (ie in assault) in the warehouse but not able to shoot the side arm untill a ct activates them or something like that.


Fyi Ranger, Laughing plays in the server quite a lot. Only saying as you may think hes a bot/spammer?

I like the Hosties as VIP's idea, but he's right, that's a dev. post. We don't really have that kind of firepower.

yea I like that idea and have had similar thoughts. for instance, every 5-10 rounds one player on the T side is given a message saying they are a double agent on the inside and at the 2 minute mark they are to wreak havoc on the inside when their cover is blown.

looked like the kind of non-specific post one might find spread across multiple forums. If he's a regular don't worry about it. Still isn't something 99% of you can do. And i'd have to look into the SDK a bit to figure it out and i don't have that kind of time.

You could have as a vote like rtv. just any idea
