It's not the person who starts the server per se. Servers can change owners. But yes the person who currently owns it pays for the server but since the server payments are connected to a paypal account, you can donate to that account as another user.

I arrived into the server on one of my other accounts one time and your there.....these rules you told me you wanted to inforce the other day in steam...you were breaking them and acting like a dick there for my first meeting with you was bad. I duely took your admin and began to dis-like you when I hear ppl moan oh I dont have admin, I want teleport, I want ma_color and shit like that I think NO you can have bitch admin. You (not just you everybody) are after all a part of a clan ie. family for fun the and closeness that the GoG tag brings not for admin after all. theres servers out there that you can buy admin on go to them admin in GoG is a gift/perk that is given out its not a nessecity, maybe Kick, ban, slay,mute, cash and balance teams are but not the other stuff if we're totally honest about it. Yes it does make it a whole lot more fun and I'm glad we use them but I'm just sayin! Also before you arrived there was/is at least 4 people who have been waiting for about 6 monthsif not longer to try and get in. I for one think members of Old should have in the past gone thru the same process. I remember Ranger one time let one of the old 1.6 guys in the clan and gave him the rcon...that caused a bit of bad vibes but it turned out fine in the end (abd I'm sure this will too but first impressions last with me).....well not really poor SouthPaw died of a heart attack.

Anyhoo I am rambling thanks for the donate if and when it happens. I will sort some admin for you once I am in the server and you are on too.

Spartans admins dont have to donate at all.... did you actually read the first post? And Envy is right Ranger used to "own" the clan if you can say own and I took over "ownership" but its not really like that like I said above we're a family who in times of need help each other out.

your right about how i should have gone through the app process like everybody else, and i didnt want any upgraded...i just wanted the ability to give because people in the server were complaining about money....but whenever you get to doing w/e admin for me is cool

Cheers, and it would be simpler just to have a target goal; IE how much you hope to raise in terms of costs so donation amounts in the future can be more appropriately given

My donation was assumed to be at a cost of an assumed 50$ USD per month for the server, this I hope I contributed 40% of the cost. If the costs are much higher, it would be great to know (without reading ten pages of posts )
