Steam Sale: All things Counter-strike

Steam is currently holding a sale, 50% off all CS products. Now I know people say 1.6 is better than Source, bla bla bla. But is original CS worth the $5, or would I just play it to test it then never play it again? I have non-steam CS on my computer that isn't registered with a CD key so I can't play online but I can play with bots and it seems fun. But would I play it if I have source?

to be honest ye sure cs 1.6 is pretty good, sure as hell better than condition zero, but rly if u have css there's rly no point in gettin cs 1.6....unless ur gonna play CRAZYTANK!!!!!! Then get it

Bought 1.6, played it for 15 mins, then left. Graphics are crap and i can't stand it.

1.6 is tougher than source i liked it at one point

I can't go back to 1.6 after playing source.
